Free meals from the Nightwatch food truck are sponsored every week by families, churches, businesses, or service groups. Dinner is served every Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. at Laura B. Anderson Elementary.
Kid Link Riverside has a meal service opportunity for you. We’re looking for a few good team builders to help feed the community in the Riverside neighborhood and the attendance areas for Laura B. Anderson (LBA) Elementary School.
Kid Link is a collaborative effort among neighbors, non-profit organizations, churches, the school district, local businesses and government officials. We work to provide fun, educational family activities, access to food and meals, and support for parents and guardians of LBA kids.
We’re all in this together!
A nutritious meal is part of the weekly programming and we need your help to get it done. This meal service opportunity is good for food service teams, local businesses, church groups, families, friend groups and anyone interested in serving, or donating for a meal to be prepared and served!
In 2022, the Nightwatch food truck provided more than 8,000 meals to families in the Riverside neighborhood. Click here to read the Impact Report.
Your team can donate, prep and serve a simple, nutritious meal to about 200 people. You’ll need a cook to create a balanced meal, and two or three people to set up, serve and clean up.
OR
Your team can provide the funding needed for someone else to prepare and serve the meal.
