Sioux Falls Thrive, a cradle to career initiative working to ensure all kids in the metro area achieve their highest academic and career potential, has elected officers for the coming year.
Lisa Beacom will chair the governance team, with Fred Slunecka moving up to the vice-chair position. Both are community stakeholders with nonprofit leadership credentials.
Thrive’s fiscal year began Oct. 1. Deb Koski, Sanford Foundation, moves to the past chair position. Beth Fuller Jensen, KELOLAND Media, and Bill Baker, First National Bank in Sioux Falls, continue as secretary and treasurer respectively. Rounding out the board are Steve Crim, Avera Health; Dana Dykhouse, First PREMIER Bank; Doug Hajek, Davenport Evans; and Evan Nolte.
