Popular children’s musician Phil Baker will be featured at Kid Link Riverside’s weekly after-school event, 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9. The concert will be indoors at Sermon on the Mount Mennonite Church, 1512 E. Mulberry, Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society announced the Feb. 9 event as part of a five-day tour of The Music Maker In Me! program. In addition to Kid Link Riverside/Sioux Falls Thrive, SFJB has partnered with EmBe, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire, and Apple Tree Children’s Centers to provide free performances across the city.

Phil will sing and play guitar with accompaniment from Reuben Rodriguez on bass and Peter Hoesing on drums. These performances are set to take place daily Feb. 8–12.

Additionally, the series will be restreamed via the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society Facebook page. SFJB will host a watch party and there will be a live-streamed final performance on Feb. 13.

All episodes are archived and available on the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society’s Youtube channel and Facebook page.

Funding for this program was made possible by a grant from the South Dakota Arts Council and support from First Bank & Trust. South Dakota Arts Council support is provided with funds from the State of South Dakota, through the Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
